UNLV/UNR Sportsmanship PSA to Debut This Week
UNLV and UNR have worked collaboratively on a sportsmanship video message featuring the presidents and mascots of the two universities.
The 41-second video will air on arena video boards prior to head-to-head matchups for men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball, and on both institutions鈥� social media channels.
The video encourages fans of both teams to 鈥渂e the example鈥� and display sportsmanship in competition and in the stands that reflects our two great institutions. The men鈥檚 programs meet Jan. 22 in Reno and Feb. 12 in Las Vegas; the women鈥檚 programs meet Jan. 22 in Las Vegas and Feb. 12 in Reno.
Both UNLV and UNR will begin sharing the message prior to this week鈥檚 basketball games.
