The NSHE Corequisite Conference was first offered at Truckee Meadows Community College in 2022 and at College of Southern Nevada in 2023. These faculty-led events were so well received by math faculty that in 2024 the conference held at Western Nevada College included an English track. In 2025 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, an additional track was added for academic advising professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fifth annual statewide conference will be held April 9-10, 2026, at the University of Nevada, Reno<\/strong>. The theme of the conference is \u201cCorequisite at Five Years: Reflect to Connect\u201d.  The intent of the conference is to allow participants to reflect upon and celebrate past accomplishments, renew friendships and extend networks, and jointly explore research that supports student success in both corequisite and gateway courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
